AAEA Outreach

Outreach is meant to serve AAEA's mission: "To enhance the skills, knowledge and professional contribution of those economists who help society to solve problems related to agriculture, food, resources and economic development." AAEA currently offers the following outreach products.

Choices
Choices is a peer-reviewed Web-based publication. Submissions are solicited from the profession for both themes and individual articles which will be included in each quarterly issue of Choices.

Policy Issues
Policy Issues is a collection of short analyses/discussions focusing on timely policy issues targeted for those in public and private sector decision-making roles that have a stake in the national issues addressed. New articles are added monthly.

Materials Sharing
The shared materials site is designed to encourage the sharing and exchanging of materials for Extension and applied economists working in industry or government. The goal is to facilitate more widespread use of nationally relevant materials which will be reviewed to give increased credibility to this shared work within the contributor's organization.
