July 2016 Update

Below you will find answers to the last minute questions that you may have as you prepare for your trip to Boston, MA. If you have additional questions, please contact the AAEA business office at info@aaea.org or (414) 918-3190.

Registration Desk Location and Hours

Pick up your registration materials, including your name badge, at the registration desk on the 4th Floor of the Boston Marriott Copley Place. If you are attending a Pre-conference Workshop, your name badge will be available for pickup at the Pre-Conference Meeting Room at that time.
The registration desk will be open:

  • Sunday, July 31, 7:30 am – 7:30 pm
  • Monday, August 1, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Tuesday, August 2, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Traveling from the Airport to the Meeting

Go Boston Shuttle is offering a discount rate on shared and private transportation. They provide round trip or one-way service from Boston Logan International Airport to the Boston Marriott Copley. Use this Reservation Link to receive the discounted rate, or contact Go Boston Shuttle with any questions. Go Boston Shuttle is an inexpensive alternative to taxi service.

Professional Headshots Available

AAEA has once again hired a professional photographer to take personal headshots for attendees on Sunday from 1:00 – 6:00 pm in the 3rd Floor Atrium Lounge.

AAEA Business Meeting

AAEA’s Annual Business Meeting will take place on Monday at 8:00 am in Salon E/F. Be sure to review the minutes from last year’s meeting and the agenda before you arrive.

Awards and Fellows Recognition Ceremony

Come recognize the accomplishments of your colleagues at the AAEA Awards and Fellows Recognition Ceremony that takes place on Monday in Salon E/F on the 4th Floor from 6:30 - 7:45 pm.
