Jean-Paul Chavas

Jean-Paul Chavas is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His research focuses on various aspects of agricultural economics, including commodity markets, price dynamics, technological change, applied econometrics, economics of trade, welfare analysis, and policy analysis.
