We will visit three craft breweries in the Denver area. Preliminary stops will include:

  1. Bierstadt Lagerhaus: Bierstadt Lagerhaus is a well-regarded Denver brewery known for its dedication to traditional German lagers. Founded in 2016, Bierstadt takes a purist approach to brewing, specializing exclusively in lagers following the German Reinheitsgebot, or beer purity laws, and traditional brewing methods. Their flagship beer, the Slow Pour Pils, is especially popular and embodies their dedication to quality and authenticity. Their approach to brewing—avoiding IPAs and other trendy styles—has earned them a dedicated following among lager enthusiasts in Denver. A light lunch will also be included during this tour.
  2. Woods Boss Brewing Company: Established in 2017, Woods Boss takes inspiration from the outdoors and aims to connect the spirit of nature with craft beer. Woods Boss is known for producing a wide range of beer styles, from IPAs and sours to stouts and lagers, often experimenting with creative ingredients and brewing techniques. They emphasize community and sustainability, striving to create a welcoming taproom environment with rustic, nature-inspired decor. The brewery often collaborates with local organizations and frequently supports environmental initiatives.
  3. Great Divide Brewing Company: Founded in 1994, Great Divide has earned a strong reputation in the American craft beer scene for its bold and flavorful brews. The brewery is recognized for its award-winning beers, including Yeti Imperial Stout and Titan IPA. Great Divide has a significant presence across the United States and has built a loyal following through adventurous, hop-forward, and barrel-aged beers.
