These grants defray housing and transportation costs associated with attending the 2025 AAEA & WAEA Joint Annual Meeting in Denver, CO, July 27 - 29, 2025. The amount of the travel grant awarded will depend on the number of applications received. There are Travel Grants for both International and Domestic travel and the deadline to apply for either is May 23, 2025.
The Section Sponsored Travel Grant of $500 will help cover travel expenses for an AAEA Member to attend the 2025 AAEA & WAEA Joint Annual Meeting in Denver, CO July 27-29, 2025. All Section Sponsored Travel Grant recipients must register and attend the 2025 AAEA & WAEA Joint Annual Meeting in-person. Receipts are required. Limit one Section Sponsored Travel Grant per person.
Following the conclusion of the annual meeting, you will receive information on how to submit your expenses for reimbursement. You will need to submit copies of all receipts for reimbursement of up to $500.
The deadline to apply is Wednesday, April 30, 2025. All applicants will be notified by Friday, May 9, 2025.
